    Are your cottages adults-only?

    Yes - both The Forge and Laurel Cottage are adults-only. They’re designed for couples who want a peaceful, grown-up break.


    Are you dog-friendly?

    Very. Dogs are genuinely welcome here, and both cottages are set up to make travelling with dogs feel easy and relaxed.


    How many dogs can we bring?

    Two dogs are standard. We can often welcome three — just get in touch before you book so we can confirm.


    Are the gardens fully enclosed?

    Yes - both cottages have fully enclosed private gardens, so you can relax knowing your dog can potter safely outside.


    Are dogs allowed on the furniture?

    Yes - dogs are welcome on the sofa/chairs (with a blanket). We just ask that dogs stay off the beds.


    Is there anywhere to wash muddy paws?

    Yes - The Forge has a dedicated paws wash area, which is perfect after beach walks and countryside adventures.


    What’s the difference between The Forge and Laurel Cottage?

    The Forge is the cosier, fireside-and-soak kind of stay — with a wood-burning stove and a Japanese-style dipping tub.

    Laurel Cottage is all about outdoor evenings and big-sky quiet — with an outdoor fireplace, stargazing area, a walk-in shower, and a deep corner bath.


    Is the coast close by?

    Yes - we’re in southern Ceredigion, close to the Pembrokeshire border, with dog-friendly beaches and coastal walks within easy reach.


    Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

    We do, when we can (it depends on changeover days.) You can book this in our extras shop, but please check with me before booking and I'll confirm what’s possible for your dates.
